Rat Handling, Gel Electrophoresis, Protein Assay, Insulin
In the lab of Dr. Leah Solberg Woods at Wake Forest University, I conducted research where I was able to learn rat handling techniques and even perform surgery on the rats. I also ran insulin and conducted protein assays, and run gel electrophoresis.
Cell Culture
During my matriculation through college, I was trained on the proper cell culture technique.
Long-term and Short-term Goals
Gas Chromatography, Paper Chromatography & Liquid Chromatography
In CHE 3222, I was trained on how to run different types of chromatrographies such as gas, paper, liquid, and thin-layer chromatography, and I was also able to run different tests using a mass spectrometer.
